Samsung announced their latest S mini handset this week, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. The phone, as with previous versions, is a downsized version of Samsung’s flagship phone which retains its look and special features, while offering a smaller screen and reduced specifications in exchange for a much lower price.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S5 Mini looks relatively stronger than its predecessor, with an Exynos 3470 chipset that includes a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot. The front of the phone is dominated with a 4.5″ 720p IPS display and a 2.1 megapixel selfie cam, while the back of the phone contains an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2100 mAh battery. LTE connectivity, wireless\u00a0N and Bluetooth 4.0.<\/p>\n

For software, we’re looking at Samsung’s usual outfit of Android 4.4 sitting underneath a hearty helping of TouchWiz UI. Many of the S5’s features appear on the Mini version, including IP67 waterproofind and the heartrate sensor.<\/p>\n

We’ll have a range of\u00a0accessories for the pint-sized S5 Mini<\/a>\u00a0smartphone, and we’ve already added quite a few bespoke\u00a0Galaxy S5 Mini cases<\/a>. These include models from Case-Mate, including the Barely There, Slim Folio and Slim Tough Case; the Toughguard Case; and Flexishield cases in\u00a0four\u00a0colours.<\/p>\n

In terms of accessories, you’ll find the full assortment. We have a range of essential universal accessories that’ll fit the S5 Mini, including microSD cards for expanding your storage options, car chargers and holders for those road trips and desk stands for keeping an eye on notifications. Finally, we’ve added a couple of\u00a0screen\u00a0protecting solutions\u00a0for the S5 Mini<\/a>, in order to keep the phone’s display looking good for longer.
