EE were the first to offer 4G service in the UK, and they’ve since underscored that advantage with a pair of 4G own-brand devices: the EE Kestrel smartphone, and now the EE Eagle tablet. Like the Kestrel before it, the Eagle is a reasonably powerful Android device with a very low price if you get it on contract.<\/p>\n

You’ll find an 8-inch 1280×800 display, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a 5 megapixel rear camera… not bad for \u00a3200 on a pay-as-you-go tariff or \u00a350 on a \u00a315\/month contract. For comparison, the Nexus 7 from Google is \u00a3299 for its LTE variant, while the Hudl from Tesco is \u00a3119 but lacks any cellular connectivity. An iPad Mini is even more expensive, at \u00a3349 for a 4G equipped variant.<\/p>\n

The small size and folding design make a the PadPivot a good choice for travel as well.<\/p>\n

Samsung 32 GB microSD HC Card – Class 6<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The Eagle comes with only 16 GB of storage, but it does feature a microSD card slot. This means you can cheaply and easily add additional storage space, with a microSD card like the one shown above. This card from Samsung adds 32 GB of storage space, and boasts fast read\/write times thanks to its Class 6 speed rating.<\/p>\n

Olixar BoomBrick Wireless Bluetooth Speaker<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

We conclude our selection of EE Eagle accessories with this Bluetooth speaker, the Olixar BoomBrick. The BoomBrick is a low-cost speaker that nonetheless provides a warm, room-filling sound. Given the rather weedy internal speakers on the Eagle, the BoomBrick can make music sound much better and louder.<\/p>\n
