Now this is cool. Moshi have produced an iPhone flip case that eliminates one of the biggest annoyances of the form factor: having to open your case every time you need to answer a call, silence an alarm or check the time.<\/p>\n

The way Moshi have done this is quite clever. They’ve left a clear plastic window in the front of the case, positioned just where the time and date are shown on the iOS 7 lockscreen. The same positioning also shows the Caller ID when you receive a phone call, which is handy. To answer or reject a call, you need to swipe along the screen – so Moshi have included a touch-sensitive strip that allows you to do so, again without opening the case.<\/p>\n

If you’re familiar with Samsung’s S View case, this is a very similar concept – but it’s all the more impressive that Moshi have achieved these functions without having any control over the phone side of things, as Samsung had with their Note 3 and Galaxy S4.<\/p>\n

Of course, this case isn’t defined solely by this one feature. It’s also a beautiful and functional case, offering a contemporary brushed steel or brushed titanium look in a slim form factor that adds minimal bulk to your iPhone 5 or 5S. The flip cover closes securely with a magnetic clasp, protecting your screen at all times from scratches and other damage. Meanwhile, all ports and features – including the speakers, camera, flash, buttons and Lighting connector – remain fully accessible. It’s a well-designed case that you’ll be proud to own.<\/p>\n
