It’s the start of a new month, so I’ve just updated our release dates calendar<\/a> to show all the key handsets due out in the next 3 months.<\/p>\n

July saw the release of the Nokia N86 and the latest Android handset – the HTC Hero. While there aren’t so many handsets scheduled for release in August, there are still a few highly anticipated phones making their way on to the shelves.<\/p>\n

Nokia<\/h3>\n
\"Nokia<\/a>

Nokia E52<\/p><\/div>\n

Nokia<\/a> will be adding to their E-Series range with the Nokia E52<\/a>,\u00a0Nokia E55<\/a> and\u00a0Nokia E72<\/a>. All are messaging phones, each with a different style keypad. The E52 has a standard phone keypad, the E55 has a new ‘Half-qwerty’ keypad and the E72 has a full keyboard for even quicker text entry. Nokia will also be releasing a new rugged handset to take on the Samsung Solid and JCB Toughphone – the Nokia 3720 Classic<\/p>\n

We also have a provisional release date for the \u00a0Nokia 5530 Xpess Music<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sony Ericsson<\/h3>\n
\"Sony<\/a>

Sony Ericsson C901<\/p><\/div>\n

Sony Ericsson<\/a> have some big handsets coming out over the next three months. Their Entertainment Unlimited range currently consists of the Satio<\/a> (previously known as the Idou), Yari<\/a> and the Aino<\/a> – each with their own focus on music, gaming or imaging.<\/p>\n

The Sony Ericsson C901<\/a> will be joining the Cyber-shot family along with the environmentally friendly Sony Ericsson C901 Greenheart<\/a>; a handset made from eco friendly materials designed to help preserve the environment and reduce pollution.<\/p>\n

Samsung<\/h3>\n
\"Samsung<\/a>

Samsung Pixon12<\/p><\/div>\n

Samsung<\/a> are aiming to be the first to launch a 12 megapixel cameraphone, by releasing the Pixon12<\/a> ahead of the Sony Ericsson Satio and they don’t plan on stopping there. A whole range of touchscreen handsets are scheduled over the next 3 months, as well as 2 new business handsets, the BlackBerry-esque Samsung Omnia Pro B7320<\/a> and the Samsung Omnia Pro B7610<\/a>. For everyday users, the Samsung Omnia II will be taking the place of the original Samsung Omnia.<\/p>\n

Palm Pre<\/p><\/div>\n

Palm<\/a> have put a lot into the Palm Pre<\/a>, it’s doing well in America, and it’s new operating system is said to be one to rival that on the iPhone. See the latest Palm Pre release information<\/a>.

BlackBerry<\/h3>\n

BlackBerry 8520<\/p><\/div>\n

BlackBerry<\/a> have been fairly quiet over the last couple of months, but we’re expecting the BlackBerry 8520<\/a> to be the first of a new range of BlackBerry devices, with a new touchscreen device to replace the Storm not too far away.
