Earlier this week we unveiled the Asus Travel Cover for the new Nexus 7, and no we’re ready to unveil an even nicer case – the Asus Premium Cover for the Nexus 7 2.<\/p>\n

The Premium Cover has a lovely tactile rubber finish, much like the Nexus 7 itself. It’s a two piece assembly, comprised of a slim polyurethane cover for the back and sides of the tablet, with a folding flip cover that’s similar to the ubiquitous Apple Smart Cover.<\/p>\n

This provides full protection for the Nexus 7, while maintaining a minimal amount of bulk. The inner part of the cover has a soft microfibre coating, ensuring that the Nexus 7’s gorgeous screen remains undamaged.<\/p>\n

The folding design of the Premium Cover allows it to prop up the tablet in landscape mode. This makes it ideal for watching videos, playing games or surfing the web, all without needing to hold the tablet yourself.<\/p>\n

The Premium Cover is made by Asus themselves, and as such fits the new Nexus 7 perfectly – you won’t get this tight a fit with a generic\/universal Nexus 7 2 case<\/a>. The Premium Cover includes cutouts in all the right places, ensuring that you can adjust the volume, lock the tablet or charge it without taking off the case.<\/p>\n

The Premium Cover is available in black and white. Both versions include a subtle black Asus logo at the bottom of the flip cover.<\/p>\n
