The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilefun.co.uk\/nokia-bluetooth-treasure-tag-40303\">Nokia Treasure Tag<\/a>\u00a0is a proximity sensor accessory that can be attached to your keychain, letting you track your keys from your Lumia phone*.<\/p>\n<p>Once attached, the Treasure Tag app will show you where your keys are on a map, and can even show you an augmented reality overlay if you&#8217;d prefer.<\/p>\n<p>The Treasure Tag works the other way, too. You can press a button on the device in order to make your phone make a noise, as long as you&#8217;re within range.<\/p>\n<p>The Treasure Tag works using a combination of Bluetooth and NFC &#8211; Bluetooth is used for the actual tracking, while NFC is used for pairing a Tag with your phone quickly and easily. Bluetooth has a a fairly decent range &#8211; about 50 metres, depending on the power of the device &#8211; \u00a0so you&#8217;ll be able to find your keys if you lose them on your flat, but you won&#8217;t be able to track your keys across town.<\/p>\n<p>The Treasure Tag will be one of the first Bluetooth Low Energy accessories, allowing for some very impressive battery life. Nokia&#8217;s saying that the Treasure Tag will be &#8220;always on&#8221; for about six months, after which the batteries will need to be replaced or recharged.<\/p>\n<p>The Treasure Tag will be available in the next few weeks, once\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilefun.co.uk\/nokia\">Nokia<\/a>\u00a0begins rolling out the Amber update to its Lumia phones, which adds Bluetooth Low Energy support.
