Yesterday, Nokia announced their next flagship phone, the Lumia 1020. The phone combines the 41 megapixel sensor of the Nokia 808 PureView with the optical image stabilisation, six part sensor and slim size of the Lumia 925. It looks like a worthy successor to both phones, and should boast the best camera of any flagship smartphone on the market.<\/p>\n

We previously announced that we would be carrying the phone’s signature accessory, the camera grip battery case. Today, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be carrying even more first-party\u00a0accessories for the Lumia 1020<\/a>, including the newly announced Nokia Lumia 1020 Wireless Charging Shell!<\/p>\n

The Charging Shell clips onto the rear of the phone around the lens, adding wireless charging capabilities to the phone. At just \u00a325, this is an easy and inexpensive upgrade that’ll allow you to use highly convenient Qi wireless chargers. For example, you could use it with our\u00a0Nokia Wireless Charging Stand<\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0Nokia Wireless Charging Car Holder<\/a>. There are also plenty of third-party Qi chargers available, and there are even Qi chargers in\u00a0coffee shops and other establishments across the world.<\/p>\n

The Charging Shell also adds another layer of protection to the phone, ensuring any impacts or scratches to the rear or sides of the phone are absorbed by the shell, rather than the phone itself.<\/p>\n

Of course, this Nokia-made\u00a0Lumia 1020 case<\/a>\u00a0is custom-built for the phone and will fit perfectly, including cutouts wherever necessary for ports and buttons.<\/p>\n

The Shell is available in white, black and yellow, to match the all three available colours for the phone itself. Choose the same colour for a monochrome look, or choose a contrasting colour in a unique combination.<\/p>\n
