Plantronics<\/a> are well known for their line of easy-to-use Bluetooth headsets, and they’ve just released their latest model: The Voyager Legend. Taking design cues from the Voyager Pro HD, the Legend includes a new slimmer microphone boom and a gorgeous two-tone colour scheme.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Voyager Legend’s advantages go far beyond good looks – it’s one of the most easy to use headsets on the market. The headset uses simple, one word voice commands – just by saying “Answer” or “Reject” you can quickly and efficiently deal with an incoming call, without needing to press any buttons – perfect for when you’re behind the wheel or otherwise engaged.<\/p>\n

The Legend also has an audio caller ID function, speaking out the name of the person that’s calling your phone. This makes it easy to know whether you can let it go to voice mail or pick up immediately – after all, it’s not a good idea to keep your boss waiting!<\/p>\n

The Legend also can detect when it’s on your ear, quickly and seamlessly switching your call from your phone to the headset without missing a beat. It’s a good example of how the Voyager Legend just gets out the way, offering up logical and convenient behaviour without you even needing to think about it.<\/p>\n

If you’ve ever spilled coffee on your headset you’ll know the horror of the experience – it gets sticky and maybe even stops working entirely. You don’t have to worry about that with the Legend, thanks to some really clever anti-moisture nano-coating technology by P2i. So go ahead, be free with that coffee – although your keyboard might not appreciate it!<\/p>\n

Finally, the Legend features superb audio quality and background noise cancellation, allowing you to sound clear no matter where you are. Plantronics have always made a name with themselves for having great sounding headsets on both ends, and that continues with the Legend.<\/p>\n

If you’re running Android, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a MyHeadset app available that allows you to locate your headset by sending a tone or tracking its last usage on a map, as well as view an on-screen battery meter so you can know how much juice is remaining.<\/p>\n

The Plantronics Voyager Legend feels like one of the best Bluetooth headsets<\/a> on the market right now – my Plantronics Voyager HD was my favourite Bluetooth headset of all time, but the Legend looks like an upgrade in every department.<\/p>\n
