Good news, everyone! The Jawbone Big Jambox has just arrived on our (virtual) shelves and you can order it as soon as you like. The Jawbone Big Jambox<\/a> isn’t a big box of Jam, it’s a portable Bluetooth speaker that sounds great and sports good connectivity options.<\/p>\n

It’s the triumphant, grander version of the original Jawbone Jambox – six times larger by volume making for much better acoustics. It uses the same Yves Behar wave, hex and dot relief textures as the original and the box is covered in a distinctive perforated steel mesh that provides a lot of strength to the device – you won’t be worried about this speaker getting dinged up! There’s even an elastomer rubber that covers the end caps to provide a little bit of extra impact resistance and durability.<\/p>\n

Despite the increase in size, the Big Jambox is still easily portable and can be carried in one hand. It includes a good spread of connectivity options, including a 3.5 mm stereo jack, a micro USB jack and of course Bluetooth 2.1. The buttons are large and spongey; you’ve got the ability to raise and lower the volume, skip forward and back and play \/ pause. There’s also a 360 degree echo cancelling microphone that means you can use the Jambox as a stellar handsfree device if you like.<\/p>\n

The Jambox includes a 2600 mAh battery, so you should get a good 10 to 15 hours of play, depending on how loud and thumpy you like your music. It goes without saying that the audio quality you get from this is way more than any other portable speaker, and can rival a lot of the wired speakers I’ve heard too.<\/p>\n
