The HTC One S is a pretty amazing phone – measuring only 7.8 mm thick, it still manages to pack in a gorgeous 4.3″ HD display, a powerful 28 nm dual core Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5 GHz and 16 GB of internal storage.<\/p>\n

The One S runs the latest version of Android and HTC’s custom Sense UI, both at version 4. The phone is snappy and fluid in operation, and boasts impressive battery life too.<\/p>\n

While there are some concessions made to reach that svelte size – micro SIM is used instead of normal size SIM cards and there’s no micro SD card slot – the One S remains an incredibly competitive package at a lower price point than the HTC One X or Galaxy S III.<\/p>\n

Today, we’re going to be looking at five of our best cases and covers for the HTC One S<\/a>\u00a0– including protective options, stylish ones and one handsome professional case. Let’s get started!<\/p>\n

We’ll start our coverage with two protective cases: The HTC Hard Shell and the Case-Mate Tough Case. In the illustration above, the HTC Hard Shell is on the left hand side and the Case-Mate Tough Case is on the right-hand side.<\/p>\n

The HTC Hard Shell<\/a> is a simple case, with a hard plastic shell providing protection against impacts and scratches. The back and sides are covered, as are the corners. This case is designed to be as light and thin as possible, allowing you to add protection without sacrificing the thin chassis of the One S. It’s made by HTC themselves, and so of course it fits the One S perfectly.<\/p>\n

The Case-Mate Tough Case<\/a> is the more advanced protective option, adding a bit more to the phone’s bulk but also adding a shock absorbent silicone skin that grants a correspondingly higher resistance to drops and impacts, as well as providing an easily grippable surface. The Tough Case is a bit more expensive, but well worth it for those leading an active lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Professional<\/strong><\/p>\n

This case is the PDair Leather Book Case<\/a> for the HTC One S. This flip case opens horizontally – a rarity for an HTC One S case<\/a>. The classic leather components are specially selected for durability and fade resistance, then hand stitched for assured quality. Unlike leather imitation vinyl cases, the PDair Leather Book Case looks and feels just right. The case also comes with a removable 360 degree belt clip for easy access.<\/p>\n

Stylish<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now we come to our stylish category, where we’ve got two last entries for you: The Case-Mate Barely There and the Pink Flowers silicone case (I’ll leave identifying these two as an exercise for the reader.)<\/p>\n

The Barely There<\/a> is a solid and professional looking case from Case-Mate, offering a lighter signature than the more protective Tough Case. The Barely There really focuses on keeping that profile slim and trim whilst still providing an adequate measure of protection, so if you’re looking for a case that’ll make your phone look swell and keep it safe, the Barely There is an emphatically popular choice.<\/p>\n

The Pink Flowers silicone case<\/a> is a bit of a different story – it’s a cheap and cheerful way to provide a bit of protection as well as a splash of colour and personality to your mobile. The Pink Flowers case utilises an eye-catching Hibiscus design that really does look fantastic. The silicone case itself is also a benefit, providing some impact resistance as well as a great deal of grip – you won’t lose your grip on the One S whilst it’s wearing one of these!<\/p>\n
