Its construction includes three different layers made of different materials, each chosen to fulfil a specific role. Let’s have a look at each.<\/p>\n

  1. Soft silicone outer shell<\/strong> – this layer enhances grip and provides some shock\u00a0absorption. The corners are also adorned with additional Ballistic protection: a clever move as the majority of dropped phones will hit on the corner first.<\/li>\n
  2. Tough and impact-resistant polycarbonate shell<\/strong> – this solid layer prevents impact damage and also ensures your phone can’t be easily crushed.<\/li>\n
  3. Ballistic shock absorbent polymer inner core<\/strong> – here, shock impacts are deadened before reaching the phone. It’s this layer which gives its name to the case.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    As well as three layers of protection, this case also includes another cool feature, called Lay On Table. Essentially, the case is raised a few millimetres above the screen of the phone, meaning the phone’s screen won’t be scratched when it’s laid on a table or other flat surface.<\/p>\n
