The Kindle Fire, Amazon’s full tablet version of the Kindle, will be released in the UK soon. The Fire has proven extremely popular for Amazon, and no doubt will do equally well here. To prepare for the new tablet’s launch, we’ve begun setting up our ranges of Kindle Fire accessories<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first stop for many will be protective items like Kindle Fire covers<\/a> and Kindle Fire cases<\/a>. A good Kindle Fire case<\/a>, like other tablet cases, will also include some added features, e.g. a stand, pocket or similar. A Kindle Fire cover<\/a> will tend to be a lighter case, offering fewer features but with less bulk, but really it’s just a question of nomenclature and the manufacturer’s intent rather than any substantive difference.<\/p>\n

Another key protective item are Kindle Fire screen protectors<\/a>; we’ve already got several ready to go from various manufacturers. A good Kindle Fire screen protector<\/a>\u00a0will prevent damage to the display, which of course is much more likely to sustain damage than the slightly tougher (and less important) Kindle e-ink screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car Charger<\/p><\/div><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The other incredibly useful accessories for a new Kindle are cables. While they’re less exciting than a new case, they’re equally essential. There are Kindle Fire chargers<\/a>\u00a0and Kindle Fire data cables<\/a>; as you’d expect the difference is that a Kindle Fire charger<\/a> will just connect to a power source (e.g. wall socket, car auxiliary port, etc.) while a Kindle Fire data cable<\/a> charges as well as allowing data transfer. You can also get Kindle Fire headphones<\/a>, a newly important accessory given the tablet’s new capabilities.<\/p>\n
