The sim free Motorola RAZR<\/a> won’t just be a US exclusive. The phone is expected to launch in the UK on the 1st of November, and we’ll be stocking it here at Mobile Fun.<\/p>\n

The unlocked Motorola RAZR<\/a> looks fantastic – it’s the skinniest phone ever, measuring just 7.1mm in thickness, but still manages to pack in a lot of the latest tech, including a fast 1.2GHz dual core processor and a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display.<\/p>\n

The battery life is also reportedly above average due to its 1780 mAh battery, an impressive achievement for such a svelte phone. In this US, carriers Verizon are reporting a 12.5 hours of talk time, which compares favourably to the approximately 8 hours of talk time available with the Samsung Galaxy S2 or iPhone 4S.<\/p>\n

The camera on the Motorola RAZR sim free<\/a> is also a good one – eight megapixels and capable of shooting 1080p video at 30 frames per second. The front-facing camera is also quite good, at 1.3 megapixels.<\/p>\n

The phone looks to be solidly constructed, even given its tiny waistline. The back is reportedly reinforced with Kevlar, and the front has that famous Corning Gorilla Glass that’s worked so well in the Galaxy S2 and other high-end smartphones.<\/p>\n

While the Motorola RAZR unlocked<\/a> will be launching with Android 2.3, it’ll be available to upgrade to the new Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as soon as that operating system is released, which is expected to be available later in November.<\/p>\n
