It’s hard to ignore it, and for many – hard to admit it. But it is a fact, the Amazon Kindle is an extremely well made device. It has taken the concept of e-reading and taken it to the next level, moving the book to the screen in a smooth transition that has changed reading for the better.

At Mobile Fun, we get a number of enquiries asking to recommend the best Kindle cover (and with such a large range of Kindle covers available, no-one can blame these questions) but one thing we constantly hear is Kindle owners moaning that they can’t read at night or in the dark. How could such a well-thought through device, the best selling e-reader of all time by endless country miles, have such a flaw in it? To be honest, we aren’t sure. Maybe they are trying to replicate the book in almost every way they can – after all, books don’t light up, right?

Kindle Cover With Light

We do however have a cure for this problem, the simple solution of a Kindle light. You can easily attach a Kindle light to your device or directly onto your case, and they really do work well. The brightness and screen coverage that they give out is pretty much spot-on, the light easily covers the screen, but it is not too bright to alert others around you – this is especially useful when reading late at night beside a loved one whilst they are trying to sleep.

Conclusion:

If you are one of the many that are growing increasingly frustrated at the Kindle not being backlit, get yourself one of our Kindle lights. Alternatively, we do sell a range of a useful little product known as a Kindle cover with light – allowing you to get all of the protection you need and that late night light that you need all in one package.

Everyone loves the Kindle.
