The MountMe Freedom iPad 2 Mount<\/a> is an interesting one; unlike most iPad 2 cases which are purely consigned to earthbound (or at least table top) use, this mount to lets you to fit the iPad 2 to a variety of horizontal and vertical surfaces.<\/p>\n

Being afforded such freedom in positioning opens up quite a few new uses for the iPad 2; with a choice of suction cups and a secure strap you could attach it to glass, metal, or your car. This means you don’t have to keep holding the iPad in place when you’re watching it; you can just attach it to a nearby surface and relax.<\/p>\n

I’d probably attach it to the mirror next to my bed so I could watch television before I sleep, or maybe on my door so that my housemates could identify the sound that’s bumping through their walls. It’d also be perfect for a communal family\u00a0message board\u00a0in the kitchen, mounted straight to the\u00a0refrigerator.<\/p>\n

As well as these more curious uses, the MountMe Freedom is also a great desk stand in its own right. It’s got a patented kickstand \u00a0that allows for increased freedom of movement, as you can see in the image below right. Wherever you stick the Freedom, whether on the table or on the moon*, you’ll be able to adjust the viewing angle to make sure it looks perfect.<\/p>\n

There’s even a quick release clip that’ll let you retrieve the iPad 2 with a single motion, meaning you won’t have to wrestle it out when you’re late for work.<\/p>\n
