Just move it, the sensor advises. Massive coffee table right where you should be standing? Just slide it out of the way, it suggests. For some of us, this ad-hoc redecorating process is relatively painless. For others a massive, solid wood coffee table isn’t moved so easily. – Joystiq

I’ve had a rough experience with the Kinect in New York City, mainly because my living room has only about 6 feet between my 32-inch TV and the edge of my sofa. The Kinect requires a good 6 to 10 feet of space between the user and it, according to documentation in the games we received. That’s a huge amount of room in most urban apartments, especially as that space also needs to be open and unobstructed. The Kinect’s setup process suggests you move furniture if necessary, a task that’s impossible for me, and an unkind expectation for most people. – CNET

The Nyko Zoom simply clips on top of the Kinect sensor, so there’s no additional cables or installation and upgrades required. The design of the Zoom blends in with the look and feel of the Kinect making it one of the ultimate Kinect accessories available.

Nyko Kinect Zoom Lens

The Kinect for Xbox has been around for six months now, but it seems that we’re all still having problems playing it in our small living rooms. If you’re anything like me you’ve tried moving the coffee table and aiming the sensor so that you can stand in the doorway, but nothing seems to work!
