Finally, some concrete news about the much-talked about HTC Pyramid \u2013 in the UK, it\u2019ll be called the HTC Sensation.<\/p>\n

From a look at the rumoured specs, it\u2019s a pretty apt name \u2013 this is impressive stuff.\u00a0 The HTC Sensation is rumoured to include 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 4G connectivity (for the US only, of course \u2013 grr), a 4.3 inch gHD screen and 1080p video playback with HDMI.\u00a0 There\u2019s also a chance that it might be launching with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, though some people are placing their bets on HTC sticking with Gingerbread for smartphones and launching Honeycomb on a tablet later in the year.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no news on a UK price yet, but it looks as though the handset will be officially launched on 12th<\/sup> April at a specially-arranged HTC media event.\u00a0 As soon as we have word on price and specs, we\u2019ll get a page up live for the SIM free handset.<\/p>\n

Until then, it\u2019s all informed guesswork and leaked pictures \u2013 here\u2019s one from Chinese website XDA.cn, though it may well be fake, so take it with a pinch of salt!<\/p>\n
