The iPad 2 will be launched in the UK on Friday 25th<\/sup> March.\u00a0 With only just over a week to go now, here\u2019s our handy guide of what to do on the day if you\u2019re planning to go and queue up.<\/p>\n

1. Prepare for your new arrival
\n<\/strong>There\u2019s a whole week to wait yet until you can get your hands on the iPad 2 itself, but why not while away the time sourcing all the iPad 2 accessories<\/a> that you\u2019ll need to get the best out of your brand-spanking new tablet?\u00a0 Take a look at our blog on what to prepare beforehand<\/a>, including how to ensure your tablet\u2019s protection using an iPad 2 case<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2. Get there early enough
\n<\/strong>We can\u2019t stress this enough.\u00a0 All too often people underestimate how long the queue\u2019s going to be once they actually arrive at the Apple Store.\u00a0 It\u2019s best to arrive at least a couple of hours early, if not more, especially if you live in one of the major cities. You don’t want to be disappointed and have to go home empty-handed!<\/p>\n

3. Bring sustenance<\/strong>
\nYou might be there a long time and you don\u2019t want to have to duck out of the line and risk losing your place just to get a snack.\u00a0 Bring a bite to eat, or at the very least a bottle of water, to keep you energised and hydrated \u2013 the wait shouldn\u2019t be long enough for anyone to actually keel over, but there\u2019s no sense in being hungry and uncomfortable!<\/p>\n

4. Bring something to amuse yourself<\/strong>
\nEven more than hunger, boredom is the main thing you\u2019re going to be fighting against.\u00a0 Have a think about what you can bring along to pass the time \u2013 be it a friend, a book, or a smartphone loaded up full of movies to watch.<\/p>\n

5. Enjoy it!<\/strong>
\nTry not to get too annoyed or frustrated by the wait, even if there\u2019s someone irritating near you \u2013 unhappiness breeds unhappiness.\u00a0 At the end of the day, it\u2019s only a few hours of your time, and the results will be worth it \u2013 you\u2019ll be one of the first in the country to be enjoying your new iPad 2!<\/p>\n\n\n
