BoxWave iPhone 4 Keyboard Case

iPhone 4 Keyboard cases are like buses – you don’t see one for ages then five come along at once!

Over the last few weeks we’ve managed to secure several iPhone 4 Cases with a built in Bluetooth Keyboard with the latest one, the BoxWave Keyboard Case arriving just this week.

The BoxWave case is a polycarbonate shell that has a slide out keyboard built into it. I’ve tried each of the iPhone 4 Keyboard cases and have to say that this is by far the easiest one to use. When you want to use the keyboard, you just slide it down and start using it.

By comparison, the TypeTop and TypeType are secured on the inside of a book style leather case. This makes holding it somewhat awkward and most easily used when you can rest it on a desk or flat surface.

The keys are pretty well spaced and are slightly larger than the on-screen keyboard, although accessing the numerical keys on the top row can be a little bit fiddly.

The keyboard and cover have cut outs that still allow you access to the volume controls, sleep switch, dock connector and camera/flash.

The keyboard is powered by it’s own internal battery and will last you weeks on a single charge. My only slight gripe with it is that it uses a different charger (Mini USB) to the iPhone 4, so if you spend a lot of time travelling, you’ll need to remember to pack two separate chargers.

The BoxWave keyboard Case for iPhone 4 is due back into stock this week. Demand is expected to be high, so if you want one, I’d place your order now and we’ll ship it out on the same day that we received them from our suppliers.
