This device may appear to be a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. It is a secure, safe device that beats others I have had hands down. I have had two splitters previously - one with a lead to the plug which meant I had to find somewhere to place it which wouldn't have device cables trailing over my car - I couldn't the cables became a hazard. the second was a cheap version of the one I've just bought. It was a fire hazard, wasn't fused, was badly made and fell apart. This was pricey but it does the job without the hazards or issues of the other types. Nothing gets in the way of driving now and this is fused and well made. I have no problem highly recommending this splitter.
