I bought this phone largely for the camera but was wowed by the sound quality both with and without the headset. The headset is really good, though the ear pieces are slightly different to standard ones. There are some alternative ones to use that came with it but it was unclear how to fit them. I use the ones it came with and the sound quality is better than anything I've tried before including the ones for my ipod and all the different ones I've used with an MP3 players. I didn't expect it and its a very nice surprise.

Very usefull
I am hard of hearing and have to wear hearing aids, so the standard headsets that come with mobile phones are no use to me. So I purchased the HPM-77 to work with a neckloop headset that works with my hearing aids, this makes using the mobile phone and listening to the MP3 player on it, very easy.
The main problem is with the Soney Ericson connection, which I find gives various problem and you cannot have the phone on charge and use the headset at the same time.

When you stop the music A built in call answering button helps you find yourself when an incoming call comes in to interrupt the exceptional bass and treble sounds.
