Best value for price

It works! About one full charge of iPhone 3GS when not exposed to sun. Will maintain existing charge while playing iTunes if exposed to sun. Able to use all features of phone while it is recharging. Of course, you have to slip the phone into the sleeve, and this means removing any existing skin/cover but it is worth it.

Priceless Accessory during the Volcano Season

Helped to get me home during the Volcanic Ash saga - priceless. Because you never know how much iPhone power you are going to use, you can charge it from solar, mains, USB socket etc and just carry it with you when travelling and slide the iPhone in when it needs charging, or you can tote your iPhone all the time with it in the charger. You have to press and hold a single button on the front to make it charge your phone – which is good because you are aware that you are doing it. It is also very useful that it has a standard mini-USB input for charging so you can charge you iPhone even if you have forgotten your iPhone USB lead. It also has a Maxi-USB output but I’ve not used that. Only limitation I can think of is that it is limited to 500 charging cycles, but as this equates to 1.5 years continuous use I’m not bothered.

The iPhone is great, but the battery life is not quite so good. Now we have the perfect solution, a backup battery with solar charge capability! Dont worry if there is no sun, simply charge it with using a mini USB cable.

The Solar Power Sleeve allows you to charge your iPhone whilst you are on your travels using solar power to keep your battery topped up. Simply slide your iPhone into the case and it'll start charging your iPhone. The best thing about the charger is that if the suns not out you can charge your iPhone by plugging a mini USB cable into the bottom of the Solar Charger, and charge it via your computer, a mains or car adapter so you can ensure that your iPhone is always fully charged for when you need it to be.

The Case includes a mini USB port so that you can charge its internal battery using a spare USB port on your PC, Laptop or Mac. The case comes with a large high capacity 2100mAh battery, allowing you to charge from a solar source and store the power for later use.

The Solar Power Sleeve also features an emergency charging slot so you can charge your other devices using the Solar Power Sleeve. Simply plug your device into the Solar Sleeve using a USB cable and the Solar Sleeve with automatically begin to charge up your device.
