This device is not bad. The tip appears to be textured foam of some kind and appears to be just stuck on the end. It is not - so don't remove it or you'll break it. I suffer with fat finger syndrome and on a touch screen phone that makes it a bit awkward. This device is useful because it eliminates the fat finger. It takes a bit of getting used to and is best used straight on 90 degrees from the screen and works really well once you are used to it. It has a pocket clip which makes it look like one of those expensive slimline pens. In my opinion it is well worth the money and at the low cost it doesn't hurt too much if you lose it.
