Seductive clamshell
You’ll want to touch it. Run your fingers across the soft and distinct shapes and feel the high-quality surface against your skin. Look out for the external display's hidden mirror effect – it's only visible when your T707 is lit up. When a call comes in, and your phone lights up. The external OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display captures the essence of the T707: it's there when you need it. When your T707 is not in use, the hidden mirror effect makes the display invisible.
This is a glossy device with a number of different lighting effects and an a bold, circular sweep on the outside the surrounds the small external display. In design terms, there is a lot of the Z750 and Z780 in this phone, and it is perhaps a little odd that Sony Ericsson have dropped the "Z" designation that they have always used for clamshell phones in the past. Sony Ericsson say the the themes change between night and day, individual callers can be assigned their own lighting effects and the T707 has gesture controls for muting calls or silencing the alarm.
Camera and blog
No matter where you go, you're ready to catch the moment. The T707 has an impressive 3.2-megapixel camera. Snap a picture and upload it on the go to your own personal blog page. Picture blogging provides an excellent way to share your experiences with family, friends and colleagues. Your T707 comes complete with all the settings you need – your blog is up and running in just a few clicks on the navigation key.

Video calls
Take advantage of the T707 3G capabilities. Use more than just words: go for a video call. During a call, you can switch between the video call camera and the main camera. When using the main camera, you can show the person you're talking to what you see.
3G, push email, web
3G means speed. Browse the web wherever you are, download heavy email attachments in no time. Push email lets you receive email straight to your phone. And you can save even more time through multitasking. For example, you can browse the web and make a seat reservation via a website during a phone call.
Fun – games, video, music
The T707 has also been created to be your leisure time companion. Challenge yourself to a 3D game. Use the music player to listen to your favourite tracks. All the software you need to copy music from CD to phone is included in the T707 kit. Store all the files you need and want on Memory Stick Micro (M2). A 100MB unit is included with your phone, and units of up to 16GB are available here.
Underneath the glossy and attractive exterior is a fairly standard Sony Ericsson device. This is quad-band GSM phone with support for UMTS and HSDPA data. The T707a (for the Americas) supports tri-band UMTS 850 / 1900 / 2100, elsewhere the T707 supports 2100 MHz UMTS only. In other words, this is a 3G device with support for high-speed downloads where networks allow. The T707 supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards, comes with stereo Blutooth, a multimedia player and an FM radio.
The display is a fairly standard 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel panel, outside is a 1.1" 128 x 36 pixel screen. Also on the outside is what appears to be a fairly basic 3.2 megapixel camera. There's a web browser, email client, RSS reader plus support for Google Maps and YouTube. The T707 also supports picture and video blogging.
