Nokia C5

Compact but feature rich mobile. Runs Symbian so lots of apps available. GPS very quick to establish position and the interface is fast as well. No WIFI but not essential with todays high MB data tafiffs. Large buttons, small screen (but I like that). Good construction and battery life. Fits into your trouser or shirt pocket and doesn't feel heavy. 3.2mp camera but very good pictures. Built in Facebook app is good as well. To sum up: good phone, lots of features/software, easy to use, well built and provides what a phone should for todays user.

Better than expected.

I decided on a new phone with a few extra facilities on it , checked out nokia c-5. It has radio, music player, camera & sat-nav. Good build quality & its a nice size & light weight to. plenty to keep you entertained.

Underneath, the Nokia C5 is a quad-band GSM phone with support for 900 and 2100 MHz WCDMA / UMTS. The GSM and UMTS support makes the C5 a real world phone. The C5 also features HSDPA giving a maximum download speed of 10 Mbps, and HSUPA with a maximum speed of 2 Mbps. You can see that the C5 might make an excellent modem when used with a laptop PC. It also comes with GPS navigation.

The Nokia C5 boasts a cool new feature in its phone book, where you can see your friends status updates directly from Facebook. You can also update your Facebook status easily and share your location with Ovi Maps 3.0.

The homescreen will show off your favourite three friends for easy access to calling and messaging whilst Nokia Messaging enables you to keep in touch on IM using Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger.

Storage is the mircoSD variety with support for up to 16GB cards – the Nokia C5 comes with a 2GB card in the box, plenty of room for storing music and with the built in stereo FM radio and 3.5mm AV connector, not to mention the Stereo IHF speaker, the sound is very good too.

The device is small, measuring just over 12mm thin and 46mm across (and 112mm high). Battery life is good for up to 12 hours talktime (GSM) and it’ll stay on standby for a whopping 26 days between charges.
