Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
I love the Nokia 5800 so easy to use, this phone like all Nokia phones, I just plug in charger and play, you soon get use to it. I use phone only as a phone and for texting, cameras good. Noticed reviews have mentioned screen getting scratched and finger prints I bought screen cover and crystal case for this phone all you need to stop screen scratch finger prints and damage to the phone it s self. Don t know about music on this phone but the call sound is very good. The touch screen is good because you can adjust the sensitivity of your touch, love the qwerty key pad makes texting so easy, just use the plectrum or your thumb nail. A key pad lock, Battery life depends on how much you use it. Can’t see screen in sunlight, I’ve never had one I could.

5800 Music Express O2 sim
I had the N95 1gb before, but did not find it idiot friendly, and it kept freezing. But this baby is fantastic. Feels great, easy to use, features well this phone outdates all others. And the picture when watching videos and t.v. are better than HD. A real winner.

| CNET.co.uk judgement |
Given the current selection of touchscreen phones, we expected a lot from the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Sadly, it didn't deliver the experience we'd hoped for. The 5800's screen isn't the worst we've ever used but it lacks the responsiveness of the iPhone's and, at times, requires a stylus. That said, the music experience isn't bad, so hopefully Nokia's next touchscreen phone will do it justice |

| Verdict |
We’ve been waiting patiently for Nokia’s first touchscreen Series 60 smartphone, but it seems Nokia has had difficulty changing things to operate by fingertip operation instead of real buttons; it can be a little fiddly to input text. The larger screen resolution isn’t fully utilised by every application either, although the media player and web browser are obvious beneficiaries. The 5800 is very well featured, from a good camera to excellent video recording, plus content sharing options. It’s a cheap alternative to the iPhone, especially with the optional Comes With Music service for unlimited music downloads. |
