The new Nokia 5730 XpressMusic runs on the Symbian S60 OS and has got a 2.4-inch 16M color QVGA display, built-in GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. Some of the other extras include a 3.2 Megapixel snapper with Carl Zeiss lens and 3G with video-call support.

Music-centric features include the stereo speakers, the dedicated 3.5-mm audio jack, a stereo FM radio, and stereo Bluetooth support. There will also be an 8GB memory card included in the retail package.

Series 60 System:
Using the Sseries 60 operating system, Nokia has created four slots for contacts so the user can quickly make calls and send messages to their most important contacts and also provide a feed from updates of social network accounts such as Facebook. Nokia has also introduced a media bar giving users immediate access to music, video, photos and the web.

Download the latest music direct to your phone using the Nokia Music store. The Nokia Music Store takes discovering, buying and downloading music to new levels. Browse, find, stream and download millions of tracks in the Nokia Music Store on your PC. Purchase new music over the air, using Wi-Fi or your 3G connection right on your device. Use the Nokia Video Centre to find more videos to download from sites such as Youtube, Reuters, Jamster and Sony Pictures.

TV and Video:
The 5730 XpressMusic supports video formats including MPEG4, windows media video and flash video, making favourite videos easy to view. Transferring and accessing videos is even faster with the high-speed USB 2.0 connection, WLAN and HSDPA support. The 5730 XpressMusic has an expandable memory for upto 16GB of which can store up to 40 hours of video content. An 8GB MicroSD card is included with the Handset.
