Does what is says

Just as described, very easy to use with basic functions. Bought for a farmer to use outside who was always dropping his phone and getting it wet, so many of the standard phones did not last longer than 3 months, this JCB phone has been excellent. He is very pleased

An indestructible phone

After 3 years, my wife broke her old JCB Toughphone, so we needed a new one, and we needed it fast, as it is essential she has a phone when she's travelling, which she does a lot in connection with her job. Mobile Fun was excellent in supplying a replacement quickly. The new version of the Toughphone is in several variations. We had the Sitemaster, which is one model up from the basic version. When the phone arrived, we spent a few minutes setting it up. Charging the battery took about 3 hours, and all was ready. The phone functioned very very well, apart from one or two niggles. My wife likes an analogue clock on her phone screen,which the previous model provided. This model would only provide an analogue clock using the screen saver, not a very good solution. There were not many tones to indicate a text message had arrived, and she had to choose one which wasn't ideal for her. Otherwise the phone is brilliant. It does everything she wants. It has a specially long life between charges. It is now 3 weeks since she last charged the phone and it's still going strong. It is almost indestructible. She used to get through phones at a rate of knots. The Toughphone is so resistant to damage that her last one lasted 3 years. There is no doubt this one will do the same. An excellent device which should last years, even with the treatment she gives it.
