Design lets down well appointed phone

It's quite big and bulky but packed with all sorts of features. The Acer front menu seems to clash with the Windows menu and you need to keep the memory free from clutter. The GPS is brilliant as is the camera but the phone is just.... well a phone! the buttons on the side are badly located. Good - screen, GPS and storage capability Bad - ergonomics, interfaces and quite low memory

The Acer M900 tries to cater to the power user. The Acer M900 is packed full of features including Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, a 3.8 inch touchscreen of WVGA resolution and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, as well as GPS and a 5 MP camera with autofocus and flash.

The Acer M900 fits the pragmatic user profile too as it comes with HSDPA and full office document editing. Another feature which is very rare on any phone is that of the fingerprint sensor for better security management. It also comes with a memory which can be expandable.

The operating system on the M900 is Windows Mobile Professional 6.1, enhanced with some Acer / E-TEN additions to make it easier to use. The combination of Windows and the high resolution display makes this a formidable business.

This is a big phone, weighing 188 grams and measuring 119 x 62 x 17.1 mm. The screen is a 480 x 800 pixels, 3.8 inches pixel touchscreen, and the M900 also has built-in GPS, WiFi, microSD expandable memory and Bluetooth. Inside is a Samsung S3C 6410 533 MHz processor.
