A perfect installation is typically tricky though, and the instructions that come with these are sparse.
Using a pair of fine latex gloves is a good way to avoid the grease on your sweaty hands from getting onto the underside of the protector. Accurate positioning is then key to a successful first attempt. To ensure you get it accurately positioned first time (it can get messy if you don't) I've found it's a good idea after cleaning the screen to quickly position the protector accurately onto the phone and then place some sticky tape down one vertical edge to hold it in position while you remove the temporary cover from the underside of the protector.
If it's correctly positioned and the screen is clean, chances are it'll go down beautifully first time. If it doesn't, or if you're not happy with the first attempt, beware that things can get a little messy as it becomes increasingly difficult to keep out the dust and grease the more attempts you have!
Patient, preparation and an obsessively clean and dust-free environment are key to getting this right, but if you do it properly, once it's on you won't even know it's there.
I know from experience that, if you don't like having your phone in a protective case, a screen protector is essential as it vastly reduces the likelihood of a smashed screen in the event that the phone is dropped.
This could well save your phone, and doesn't appear to affect its operation at all, hence the five star rating.
