The Nokia CK-600 is the same kit as the CK-300 with the addition of a 2.2" removable colour screen. The CK-600 is aimed at people that have a 'normal' phone like the Nokia 6300 or a phone made by another manufacturer. The screen adds extra functionality to the car kit. Once connected via Bluetooth, the CK-600 provides you with quick and easy access to the functions that you are most likely to use the car; phonebook, recent calls, music & settings.

Call Log
Accessing your call history and returning missed calls is quick and easy and can be done without having to touch your phone.

Contacts
If you share the car with another driver, then you can both use the CK-600 as it can be paired to two phones (not at the same time) and can store up to 1000 contacts per user, with 3 numbers per contact. Unlike previous versions, the phone book in the car kit updates itself each time your phone is connected. You can then either search through your contacts by name, or scroll through your entire phone book to find the entry you want to call.

Music
The music menu gives you full control of the music on your phone or MP3 player and from here you can browse your entire music collection by artist, album, playlist or song. As with contacts and messages, it’s all controlled using the Navi-Wheell on the remote, so even if you phone is in the boot of the car, you can still play all of your music or change playlist without having to touch your phone. The CK-600 also has a 3.5mm line in socket so you can connect any standard MP3 Player or CD player to it and have that audio played through the car stereo. If you’re using the line in lead you’ll need to control the playback from the device and not the car kit remote.

Built in Charging
You can be sure to arrive at your destination with a fully charged battery as the Nokia CK-600 has a 2mm charging connection, allowing you to charge your Nokia phone in the car whilst leaving your cigarette lighter socket free for other devices. The charging cable is compatible with the Nokia Car Holder CR-99 and Nokia Car Holder CR-82.

Easier Installation
Installation of the CK-600 has also been improved. Previous generations of Nokia Car Kit needed to be wired into the ignition power supply in the car to prevent it from draining the car’s battery, but this is not the case with the CK-600. Instead it has a built in motion sensor which turns the car kit on when it detects that the car is moving. As a result, installation is a lot quicker and neater, and as long as your car stereo has standard ISO connection, you won't need any additional cables or adapters. If your car doesn't have an ISO stereo, you can purchase an adapter that will allow you to connect the CK-600 to your car. For your safety, and to avoid voiding the warranty, we strongly recommend having the Nokia CK-600 professionally installed.
