Navicore 2006 builds on the original award winning software, adding a host of useful enhancements to Satellite Navigation.

Navicore Personal is your personal co-driver, loyally accompanying you to wherever you go with your mobile phone. It gives you directions when you need them and guides you to your destination. Navicore is a software application that transforms your mobile phone into a fully fledged GPS-navigation system when used with a GPS receiver.

Navicore 2006 adds:

• Full Post Code Search: Type in the full 6 digit post code and off you go.
• Latest TeleAtlas Maps: Brand new maps incorporating newly built roads.
• Speed Camera Support: Get warnings when approaching speed cameras.
• Traffic Information: Get warning and automatic redirection around traffic jams & delays. Always find the quickest route to where you want to go.
• Address Book Integration: Navigate to places directly from your phones address book.
• Improved Graphics: New high resolution maps for improved readability.
• Updated POI database: Find restaurants, shops, cinemas, entertainment, bars, clubs automatically with the updated POI database.
• Car/cyclist/pedestrian Modes: Navicore 2006 can now be used not only in the car, but whilst cycling, or walking.

Free to Use - Forever:
Navicore Personal is delivered on a memory card that is ready to install into the mobile phone. The card includes both the application and full digital maps. All routing & guidance is done on the handset itself. Traffic & speed camera updates (if required) utilise your phones GPRS connection to download data as you drive.

Beacon Option:
Built in beacon function (optional) lets up to 10 other people know your location automatically by text message at preset intervals.

• Favourite - Save frequently used addresses (home, office) in the favourites list and assign shortcut keys to them like you would with your handset's phone book.
• Flexible search features and POI-directory - Find a location based on street address, city name, or use the POI-directory with listings in dozens of categories such as petrol stations, harbours, airports, theatres, golf-courses etc.
• History - Easily access recently used destinations and addresses.
• Dial-a-POI - Most POI-directory entries have phone numbers which you can conveniently call directly from the map display.

System Requirements:

• Symbian OS 6.1 (or newer) operating system and Series 60 1.0 (or newer) software platform.
• Minimum 1,5 MB of free system memory.
• Available RS-MMC or MMC memory card slot.
• Bluetooth-support.

NOTE: Panasonic X700 will need to copy maps to a miniSD card (128MB Minimum). Not Supplied.
