All the features of the display from brightness and colour scheme to zoom level and points of interest are customisable, so you get the view you want to make your journey easier.

EasySearch for quick, intuitive searching

Motorola's unique EasySearch makes finding where you need to go easier than ever before. To enter a location to navigate to, simply press anywhere on the screen, tap Enter Destination and start typing. The device will automatically start searching in the area around you, but if you want to navigate to a different city just enter it into the box right of the address bar. Results are automatically generated as you type, and come up with a preview map of the area so you can be sure it's where you want to go.

Hands-free Bluetooth speakerphone

The MotoNav TN550 is more that just a navigation device. It also connects with your phone via Bluetooth, and allows you to route all your calls through it so there's no need for a separate hands-free kit. It synchronises with your contacts, so you always know who's calling. Using the voice controls, you can even start dialling without having to take your eyes off the road. Even better, if your phone supports Bluetooth messaging, you can send and receive text messages on the TN550.

Multiview gives necessary information with just one tap

The impressive Multiview feature allows you to view other useful information without ever leaving the map. See an aerial view, find nearby points of interest, or check your compass direction, speed, altitude and GPS coordinates just by expanding the side panel. Other important notifications such as motorway lane choice and speed limits pop up unobtrusively over the map, so you can easily glance at what you need to know without losing your way.

Voice recognition keeps your hands on the wheel

Another great feature of the TN550 is the Speak & Go voice recognition. Depending on what you're doing at the time, different commands allow you to access most features without taking your eyes off the road. Simply press the microphone image on the screen, and you can make calls, navigate to your home location, find out where you are, cancel your trip, and much more just by saying simple commands. Includes in-car cradle and mounts

The TN550 comes with a car charger, cradle, and mounting solution that can be used to hold the device securely either on the dashboard or on the windscreen. Also included is a self-adhesive disc so you can even mount the TN550 on uneven or patterned dashboards. When you have reached your destination, you can remove the device from the cradle at the push of a button, making it easy to store out of sight.
