Does just what I want!
Got my Mercury stand at last! Looks good so far. Very sturdy and stable. It is basically a standard stand with a clip on unit to fit the HD2. It would be nice if you could buy the clip on unit alone for different stands but I don't know if that is possible. It comes with a microUSB cable and an AC transformer for the cable to be connected to - UK 3 pin plug only. You plug the cable and also any audio cable into your phone so that means you do not have it fully wired up waiting on your desk if the phone is not in it. For that you would need something like the Deluxe stand from MobileFun. The only other drawback I can see at the moment is that you can only use it in portrait mode. It would be great if, at least, you could get a clip that would allow landscape. So far, I like it.

Description of Mercury Desk Stand For The HTC HD2:

The desk stand for the HTC HD2 is specifically designed to work with the HD2. The holder is designed with convenient cut outs which allow you to access all of the handsets functions without having to take your HD2 out of the cradle everytime you need to use it.

The shiny black finish of the cradle is both sleek and stylish, making it blend in at home and in your office environment. The slender shape puts the handset in a comfortable reading position and allows you to plug in your charger or data cable without moving the handset.

Rubber feet on the base of the holder

The cradle is also designed with handy clips on either side of the stand so you can easily clip your cables into place to keep your work space neat, tidy and cable free. The clips are also designed to keep the cable in place when the handset is not in the holder, to ensure that you don't have to keep on fetching the cable to plug it in.
