An essential purchase...

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Martin Field's protector for my Desire. No regrets whatsoever about this purchase. One of the best on the market, well worth the price. It is a little finicky to put on at first. You need time, patience, and steady hand. But once it's on, it's superb - unnoticeable, totally transparent, and makes using the screen a joy (even smoother flicking and scrolling I find). When applying, try not to touch the 'adherent' side that goes down on the screen (greasy fingerprints mar the finish). Make sure you keep an eye out for dust sandwiched between the screen and the protector. Any fingerprints on the sticky side and dust can be removed easily by lifting the protector up and slipping in some Scotch tape to clean up. When applying the protector, position it from one end and lower it progressively across the screen - and you won't have any trouble with air bubbles. Some people have complained about an 'oil-like' mark - this appears as the protector settles/wears-in - and I found this makes its performance even smoother. Mini protector for the camera is a bonus. Only gripe is peeling the protector off the packaging - this could be labelled more explicitly to help, but it's not a big deal. Twin pack is great - I wore my first one out after about 9 months and have just bought another twin pack to keep spare. No brainer purchase - essential for anyone who'd like to keep their Desire in top shape. I've combined with the Flexishield skin - great combo.

Perfect!

Very easy to fit and it does not affect the performance of the screen at all...would highly recommend.

Excellent service and quick delivery from mobilefun as usual. When the pack arrived it took me a couple tries to get the protector down without fingerprints, dust or bubbles marring the finish, but once I was able to get it correctly in place I understood why the many reviews on the 'Net claimed that having one of these on is like having a new screen. Fingers tend to slide across the surface a bit easier than on the bare screen. However, the visibility of the screen is undisturbed by the presence of the protector - I can't tell the difference between having it on now and how the bare screen was with it off. I'm yet to put the 'protector' aspect to the test to see how well it holds up against scratches, but so far this Martin Fields is doing the business. Oh, and the price here for the twin pack is better than at other places online.
