I bought mine from another source but, given the bad press it's getting here, I felt I just had to comment - there is nothing wrong with this stylus.
The criticised "metal tip" is actually plastic (or, at least, encased in plastic and does not touch the screen).
Tip angle is perfect - that really is a very personal thing and not a fault. And how hard is it to alter one's grip?
As for the rest of the gripes. sorry, I'm just not seeing them - at all, except that it can't actually be attached to the case, but surely that's equally a case fault for not having a place to attach it?
My only problem is that I ordered it before I'd got used to my HTC Desire S - I don't really need it. That, of course, is my fault.

Not very easy to use
This product is very difficult to use on the HTC desire since the phone is not 100% touchscreen and buttons sometimes need to be used. The stylus will not work unless the whole of the flat circle at the end is completely touching the screen. The angle of the end part of the stylus is not at a comfortable writing angle and is about 10 degrees out.
The above are my own personal opinions of the product.
A capacitive screen stylus pen is designed specifically for the new HTC phones such as the HD2 and Desire.
Have you been struggling to get to grips with the HTC's capacitive touch screen? Been screaming out for a stylus that will allow you to select items and navigate the screen with more ease?
Worry no more. This official stylus from HTC is designed specifically to work with the capacitive touch screen of the HTC HD2 and HTC desire. Using the latest technology the stylus will allow you to better use your phone. No more fingers or thumbs!
This stylus is also perfect if you have a commercial application that requires customer signatures to be entered via the capacitive screen on a device - the stylus allows you to do just this.
It's perfect for enterprise applications which require signature capture.
