Works with Samsung Galaxy Note / S2

This is my 2nd Freedom keyboard, I've had one of their folding into 4 products for years. This one is a dedicated UK keyboard though, unlike the last, so it has a £ key etc. It's well made and comes with a plastic case (simulated leather effect) with a magnetic clasp. I'd have preferred a press-stud because I'll be keeping my wallet with cards in the same bag as this device and magnetism is not good even in small quantities! The keyboard folds out from two halves and feels like an inexpensive laptop keyboard, possibly a bit more travel on the keys, but it's not bad. The space bar is split in two because of the fold of course. It DOES work with my Samsung Galaxy Note and therefore it will work with the S2 as well as they are effectively the same phone. This is next information is VERY important: For the Galaxy phones use the SPP setting on the keyboard not the HID setting. The latter will work but not properly and many keys will fail. This is equally important, watch this video that explains exactly how to get an Android phone working with the keyboard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a4LhNkGNLM I followed the instructions and it works. NOTE: In SPP paired mode you won't see the keyboard go active in the Bluetooth settings, this is very confusing at first. With HID (wrong mode) it does go active. All the activity indications are in the driver settings under Language & Keyboards in your phone settings AFTER you've followed the instructions in the video. You'll see, it's easy. Good luck.

Fantastic

This keyboard is fantastic! I would suggest you set it up by following the instructions in the video on the Freedom Pro website http://www.simplemobilereview.com/video-pairing-freedom-pro-keyboard-with-android-device/ as it is a bit unusual but once done it works perfectly with my HTC Sensation
