Brodit passive holder Xperia X10
@Lee : Passive doesn't mean you have to mount it by means of screws in your dashboard, it means that it has no integrated charging provision, charger should be bought separately. In case of integrated charging provision it is called an active holder. Anyway it is to be mounted with a ProClip bracket which is custom made for your car. Therefore I give a very good rating to the Brodit Holder, my X10 fits like a glove and is fixed without any damage to my car interior!

Sony Ericsson X10i Brodit Passive Holder With Tilt
The word is 'Passive'. This means you have to mount it to your dash board with x 4 small screws. I ended up buying a Universal Suction Mount for £12.47 delivered from Mobile Fun. This has a 'sticky' back you attach the Brodit to and fit perfectly. I'd buy an 'Active' mount (although I couldn't find one).

The passive holder is small, neat and discreet. By using a passive holder your phone will always be within easy reach. It's right there when you need it and it's always in an upright position for better reception. The passive holder is custom made for your phone model and handles all original battery sizes. It can be used with cigarette lighter chargers and portable handsfree kits. The holder is manufactured in black ABS plastic which can withstand temperatures of up to 100° C.
Use with our Universal Suction Mount to easily put this holder anywhere in your vehicle or use the pre-drilled holes to screw onto your dashboard.
