what a find

Really good product. i spend a lot of time on the road so a car holder is a must and this is the best one as i have a i phone 3g. you will tho need the bracket for the holder to screw into. the only down side (and it is only one) is that it can't sit in a case as these holders are made to mesure. so if like me you will need a wallet to place your i phone into.

Great product

This is a fantastic product I purchased a vehicle specific mounting bracket and this fitted onto it perfectly. It has a soft feel and won't damage your iPhone and looks great

Iphone Passive Holder

In reply to Andy (Bournemouth) review. You need to purchase and adjustable passive holder rather then the padded holder. The adjustable allows you to insert the phone with its case. The padded one (which you have) is tight fit and does not allow for the iphone in a case.

Description

The Brodit Passive holder is a secure in car holder for your iPhone 3G.

Its lightly padded design ensures that your iPhone 3G doesn't get scratched when being used in the holder. The holder has an adjustable tilt/swivel base that allows you to adjust the angle of the phone to avoid light reflection. The open style of the holder leaves the charging port, headphone socket and speakers fully accessible. A portable handsfree or a charging cable can be connected to the iPhone 3G when it is in the holder.

What else might you need?

The Brodit Passive holder is deisgned to be fixed to your dashboard, either using a Brodit ProClip, or by screwing into the dashboard directly. This holder can also be attached to a Universal Suction Mount. To keep your iPhone 3G charged in the car, you will also need a car charger.
