We’ve just finished the second week of Mo-Vember here at Mobile Fun HQ and some of the moustaches are coming on great – others not so good…….
Thank you to everyone that’s donated so far, we’ve raised over £400 now for men’s cancer charities but we’ve still got a couple of weeks left before the end of Mo-Vember so keep donating 
Since starting to grow their moustaches some of the guys have had a few strange thing said to them: Alan’s been compared to Freddie Mercury, Chris has been told he looks French and Luke’s had to actually prove that he has a moustache growing by getting people to feel it!
Here’s how they’re all looking….. (very smiley)

We recently supplied The Gadget Show with some Krusell SEalABox cases to use for their Surprise Special which aired yesterday.
We had no idea what the team would do with these cases (my guess was putting them in a swimming pool) but it’s fair to say they were put through their paces.
The Krusell SEalABox cases are designed to provide waterproof protection to most modern mobile phones. The cases have a IPX7 standard which means that they have been approved at 1 metres depth for 30 minutes, giving you complete usability underwater.
However what’s great about the SEalABox is that it also provides unbeatable protection too, as was seen on the show last night.
The Krusell sailed through the constant spraying of dirt and water from the motorbikes; survived a spin in a washing machine tied to a brick (better than the machine itself) but sadly it couldn’t quite cope with being blown up!

Love Your Mobile
Once again we’ve teamed up with the X Factor – so watch out for our mobile phone accessories on your screen when the X Factor airs later this year.
They’ve given us 10 tickets to give away for the auditions at the O2 Arena, London, which take place on the 7th and 8th of July. This means we’re giving away 5 tickets for each evening to two lucky winners; so you and four friends could be going to see the auditionees and even the possible winner of the show!

We’re all very proud to report that Mobile Fun has received the accolade of ‘Best Online Retailer’ at this year’s Mobile News Awards, beating off heavy competition in order to lift the trophy!
Mobile News Awards is the biggest and most respected annual event in the mobile industry, and this year’s super-glitzy affair was held at the London Hilton on 17th March and skilfully compered by comedian Jason Manford. Awards are judged by an independent panel of experts from the world of technology.
We were up against competitors BuyMobilePhones.net and Mobiles.co.uk, both top retailers in their own rights, so receiving the award was a real honour – though I’m pleased to report that there were more cheers than tears from our team on the night, with no embarrassing Oscar-style weeping to be seen!
Mobile Fun was lauded by the judging panel as demonstrating “innovation in retailing linked with excellent customer service”.
Other awards on the night went to Orange (Best Large Retailer), O2 (Best Network) and Google (Industry Advance). You can read the full list of winners over at the Mobile News Awards site.
