Are you the proud owner of the latest ‘must have’ gadget, the Galaxy Tab? Are you looking for some great accessories that will enhance your Tab, make it easier to use and help keep it looking at it’s best? Here are six of our favourite Galaxy Tab Accessories.
Best Galaxy Tab Case:
Noreve Cases are great, certainly one of my favourite brands. What I love about them the most is the way that they hold your Tab securely but without having to slide it into a stitched pocket that restricts access to the screen. The Noreve case looks excellent, is made from high quality leather and is surprisingly slim once it’s on your Galaxy Tab. The inside of the case has space for business/bank cards and a flap to hold paperwork such as travel tickets etc.
Best Galaxy Tab Dock:
There are currently two docks available for the Galaxy Tab, the keyboard dock and the multimedia dock. Both have very different purposes, but I find the Tab to be more of a casual/social device and am more likely to want to hook it up to my TV than I am to sit at a desk with it to type out lengthy emails or reports. The Multimedia dock has a HDMI port for quick and easy connection to your TV and it will charge the Tab up while it’s docked – so long as it’s connected to your charger.
Best Galaxy Tab Stylus:
The screen on the Tab is a capacitive one, so doesn’t really need a stylus, but if you enjoy sketching, drawing, taking notes by hand, you might prefer the improved accuracy that you get from a stylus. There are a few styli that will work with the screens on the iPad and the Tab, but they’re not all that great. The Hard Candy stylus is by far the best one that we’ve used on a capacitive screen and would highly recommend it.
Best Galaxy Tab Charger:
Keeping your Tab charged isn’t as easy as you might think as Samsung have decided not to use the now standard MicroUSB connection, instead opting for a proprietary connector for charging and data transfer. If you need a spare/second charger, this car charger is a great option as it’s actually two chargers in one, a car charger and a standard USB charger that you can use to charge and sync your Tab on your PC or Mac.
Best Galaxy Tab Cover:
If you want to protect your Tab but don’t want to hide it away in a leather case then a FlexiShield case is your best option. They’re made from a tough, flexible gel that absorbs knocks and bumps, but still leaves the tab on display. They’re available in a range of colours and leave the camera and charging ports accessible.
The Tab is all about the screen, damage it and you’re in trouble. The best way to protect it against scuffs and scratches is to fit a screen protector. There are several available for the Tab, but we’ve chosen the Samsung one as the best for a couple of reasons. You don’t need to trim it to size, just stick it on and you’re done. It’s exceptionally clear, doesn’t interfere with the sensitivity of the display and the twin pack is less than the price of most individual screen protectors.
