SIM-free Nokia N8 now available from Mobile Fun

Nokia’s newest handset has been pitched as yet another iPhone killer, a claim which people may understandably be sceptical of, given the amount of phones released that apparently have the potential to overtake Apple’s giant. With the N8, though, this claim might just be founded; or if not, they’re going to give it a good shot.

The SIM free Nokia N8 comes with a whole host of features that make it the best Nokia N-series phone so far. It’s the first Nokia to feature the eagerly awaited Symbian^3 software, but this is one phone where the outside is as gorgeous as the inside: the N8 is wrapped in cool aluminium, available in a selection of five stylish colours (silver, dark grey, blue, green, orange), and the phone can be further customised and protected with a Nokia N8 screen protector and Nokia N8 case.

Aesthetics aside, the N8 has a bunch of extras taking it above and beyond your run-of-the-mill smartphone. The handset boasts a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon Flash, HD video recording and playback and penta-band WCDMA radio. You can even hook it up to your home theatre system so that you can view your videos and images on the big screen, with surround sound.
