SIM Free HTC Sensation XE Price And Date Announced

The SIM Free HTC Sensation XE ticks all the boxes when it comes to an upgrade of a handset.  It’s got a faster processor, a better look and most importantly it come built-in with Beats by Dre audio – the very first HTC handset to have this feature.  Mobile Fun have announced that they will be stocking the SIM Free HTC Sensation XE, which will be available on the 7th October, costing £489.95.

What do you get for your money?  The unlocked HTC Sensation XE has all the features of the original HTC Sensation plus more.  The processor of the XE has been upped to now be a whopping 1.5GHz dual core one, so the speed of the already fast handset has been increased, meaning you can have more apps open at one time and speed through features quicker.

The second major change is the battery life.  Whereas the Sensation had an impressive 1520mAH battery the HTC Sensation XE SIM free houses a 1730mAH battery.  This means you get an extra 25 minutes of talk-time or 15 hours on standby.  Either way, the old mobile phone battery woes have been thrown out the window with this upgraded handset.

However, the biggest and most entertaining change to the HTC Sensation XE unlocked is that it now sports Beats by Dre audio; a feature which no other HTC handset has.  This delivers extraordinary sound and features specially tuned software and user interfaces to give you the best mobile audio experience possible.  Even better the handset comes complete with a pair of Beats by Dre headphones, so you can always listen to your beats on the go.

This upgrade really is extreme, so it’s no surprise HTC is calling it the Extreme Edition.

The SIM Free HTC Sensation XE will be available from Mobile Fun on the 7th October, costing £489.95, along with a variety of HTC Sensation accessories and a wide HTC Sensation case range.
