Beat the Postal Strikes

Mobile Fun understands that the planned Royal Mail strikes may be causing concern, so we have put together a few recommendations to help through this period.

Using Recommended Guaranteed Delivery Service

While Mobile Fun cannot guarantee any of the Royal Mail services during the planned industrial action, Royal Mail has so far delivered on its promise that their Next Day Special Delivery Service remains unaffected.

Therefore we would recommend upgrading your delivery service to- Royal Mail Special Delivery before 1pm- priced at £5.95. If Royal Mail fails to deliver your order as promised we will refund the cost of delivery in full.

Using DHL Option

If you are not comfortable using Royal Mail’s delivery services during the strike action then we have provided an alternative delivery service using DHL. The DHL 48 hour service*† – priced at £5.95, includes online parcel tracking with a 99% guarantee to arrive with you within 48 hours of despatch. It is our experience that the majority of parcels arrive the next day with this service.

Although we have not previously offered DHL as an option to our customers, we have worked with DHL for many years within our internal logistics operations and therefore are confident of the reliable and safe service they can provided.

1st Class & International delivery services

Royal Mail will still remain the only option for 1st Class UK delivery and international deliveries; however, planned strike action by Royal Mail may cause delay to these services.

How to select your chosen delivery option

Within the Mobile Fun check-out you will now have two options available for guaranteed delivery; in addition to Royal Mail Special Delivery, you will also be able to choose the alternative – DHL 48 Hour*†.

Just highlight and click your chosen delivery service from the drop-down box found under the heading – Delivery Method. You should then see your basket updated to this service before you continue onto the payment page.
