 Logistics Coordinator – Returns

The Opportunity Mobile Fun has  vacancies within its Warehouse Team for some reliable individuals with drive, and energy with attention to detail, who also work well within a team and take pride in doing a good job.

The Challenge As part of a team you will report to the Warehouse Floor Manager and work alongside your team of colleagues ensuring all customer returns are completed to a high standard within the parameters of the KPI’s and daily targets Repairs and Returns: (faulty and non-faulty)

  • Ensure that all warranty repairs are dealt with daily, in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that rigorous testing is carried to determine the cause of the problem, confirming that they meet the criteria specified in our terms and conditions of return
  • Ensure that failed delivery items are processed quickly and efficiently.

Supplier Returns:

  • Ensure that faulty stock is returned to suppliers promptly and returns systems updated accordingly.
  • Initiate regular stock takes to deliver 100% accuracy, to identify and rectify errors.
  • Chase suppliers for outstanding returns numbers and collections, whilst updating the system as necessary.

The Opportunity:

The Role:
  • Reporting to the Operations Director, you will have primary responsibility for managing the despatch team of 8-10 operatives to meet hourly/daily picking, packing and despatch targets.
  • You will manage quality-of-work and accuracy, ensuring quality checks are in place to deliver excellent customer service.  You will also organise cross training and skill development within the team to maximise team flexibility.
  • You will use KPIs to measure and improve results, ensuring that targets are met consistently.  You will ensure that all operational documentation is completed, checked and filed accordingly, as well as compiling a report for the Operations Director on a daily and weekly basis.
  • You will be responsible for packaging consumables – ensuring that goods are packaged with appropriate packaging and that sufficient supplies are stocked and replenished as required.
  • You will maintain a high level of health and safety compliance, as well as carrying out housekeeping activities.

About You:

  • You will be excited about working in a fast-paced retail warehouse at a leading online retailer.
