Stay out the dark with a Kindle lighted cover

Monday, June 25th, 2012

I love reading – Like most girls, I’ve read every Nicholas Sparks book more then once; I’ve eaten up every word of the Harry Potter series secretly wishing Hogwarts existed and I’ve felt like I battled through The Hunger Games with Katniss and Peeta.

To me nothing compares to getting stuck into a good novel and reading and reading until your eyes just can’t stay open any more, thankfully this is possible even with the Kindle, all thanks to a Kindle lighted cover.

Kindle Lighted Cover

A Kindle lighted cover is the perfect option for readers, as there’s nothing worse than having to stop reading because it’s too dark. Imagine you’re on a really exciting, pivotal moment in the story, yet you simply can’t see the letters on the e-reader any more so you’re forced to stop…. disaster.

Not only providing light to the Kindle when it gets too dark to read, the Kindle lighted cover offers full protection to the Kindle, like a standard Kindle case would, protecting it from daily bumps, drops, scrapes and scratches so that the Kindle remains looking newer for longer.

The cover is great for use on the go too as it protects the screen of the Kindle from damage when not in use with the flip cover; so you can pop it in your bag without the fear of any ports or features being damaged. It comes with a wrist band too for added safety and to help prevent those butterfingers moments.

The star of the Kindle lighted cover though is the light itself. Coming with it’s own dedicated slot, the LED light simply attaches to an area of the case through a magnet to illuminate the display and allow you to keep reading for longer. Not only useful on the night, this feature is also great for when on trains and in a dim room. Plus when you’re finished with the light, you simply pop it back in its slot and it’s there for when you need it again.

So no longer will you have the issue of it being too dark to read; you can finish the chapter in comfort and style all thanks to a Kindle lighted cover.

The name’s Bond, James Bond…. Limited Edition James Bond KleverCases arrive

Friday, April 27th, 2012

The Klevercase range is my favourite range of Kindle covers that we sell – they look great, are amazing high quality and the designs are so bright and quirky.

There’s two styles for the Kindle Touch that I’m really liking at the moment, so much so that I’m actually considering buying a Kindle Touch just for the case; they’re the Sherlock Holmes KleverCase and the James Bond KleverCase.

The James Bond KleverCase Kindle Touch case hit our warehouse this morning so I ran in to take a few shots of it so that you could see how cool the case.  The James Bond style is a limited edition KleverCase too, so it won’t be around for long.

Based on the Bond movie, Thunderball this KleverCase is manufactured from traditional book binding techniques and make your Kindle Touch look like one of Ian Fleming’s famous novels.

The KleverCase range is manufactured in the UK and uses a moulded interior case so that all the ports and features of the Kindle Touch can be accessed including the Kindle Touch charger port.  This moulded TPU interior also insures that your Kindle doesn’t move whilst in transport, so it’s safe at all times.

Each KleverCase is lightweight, durable and splash-proof making it the perfect accessory for any fiction fan and Bond fan alike.

The quality of the KleverCase is second to none too, feeling highly secure and actually quite luxurious for a vintage style product.  The front of the case features a creepy skeleton hand design, whilst the back has an image of Bond creator Ian Fleming, looking rather serious.

Each KleverCase is wrapped up like a present so is a great gift for a friend. They’re one of my favourite Kindle Touch accessories and they’re available today!

Do you like the KleverCase range?  Will you be tempted by a James Bond theme case?  Let us know through the usual channels

Three Kindle Touch cases that stand out from the crowd

Thursday, April 26th, 2012

The Kindle Touch is the first e-reader device which is actually tempting me to convert from old school books to e-books.  Not only does the device look good but the touch screen features and E Ink display look really impressive, especially the new X Ray feature.

To celebrate the Kindle Touch I’ve put together a run down of three Kindle Touch cases to help you stand out from the crowd:

Zebra Kindle Touch Case

Zebra SD Leather Style Book Case

This Kindle case lets your animal instincts show, thanks to the Zebra print design.

Made from a leather effect material, this Kindle Touch cover is designed to fully protect your Kindle from day to day bumps, drops, scrapes and scratches.  It opens and closes like a folio in order to keep the screen protected too and even has a magnetic snap closure.

Your Kindle is held in place with four tabs, which again have the cool Zebra print design – animal print is still high fashion, so this beauty is the ultimate case for fashionistas.

When using the Zebra print case you still have access to all the ports and features of your Kindle Touch, including access to the Kindle Touch charger port, so that you don’t have to keep taking your Kindle out of the case every time you want to charge it.

The case also has an interior slip pocket so you can store any documents or tickets to access them easily; like a train or bus ticket.  This saves you from searching through your bag  or pockets so is the perfect accompaniment to the case.

Dracula KleverCase

Dracula KleverCase

Next up is one of my favourite products, the Dracula KleverCase.  The KleverCase range disguise your Kindle as a famous work of fiction, with a variety of titles to choose from including; Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Alice In Wonderland and simply My Kindle.

The KleverCase Kindle Touch cases are highly protective and can also be seen to help deter thieves as it appears you’re carrying around a vintage book rather than an e-reader.

Sitting in a moulded area your Kindle is extremely safe in the KleverCase and won’t fall out during transit.  Plus the case features all the cut-outs for the important ports and features so that you don’t have to frequently remove the Kindle from the case.

The hard cover of the case helps to protect your Kindle from daily damage and scratches, which in turn help to make the book look even more vintage, so only add to its style.

Team this case with a Kindle Touch screen protector and you have complete protection and head turning style to make you stand out from the Kindle cases crowd.

Incipio Kaddy Nylon Case

Incipio Kaddy Nylon Case

The final case in my countdown is a case manufactured from nylon, which is what makes it stand out from the crowd.

The Incipio Kaddy Case is one of the best Kindle Touch accessories for  sleek style, which is perfect for both business and social use.  This case doesn’t detract from the slim appearance of the Kindle, instead it highlights it and leaves all focus on the e-reader.

What’s special about this cover however, is the that the Nylon material helps to add a waterproof element to the cover, so that your Kindle has some protection should you get caught in the rain.

The case also offers superb scratch and damage protection, as well as offering complete access to all the ports and features of the Kindle Touch.  The corners, front and back of your Kindle are always enclosed with this case but the sides do remain open for access to the ports.

Perfect for under-stated style, the Incipio case simply needs teaming with a Kindle Touch light to help you keep reading in the dark and you have the ultimate timeless cover.

These are my three favourite Kindle Touch cases, but which styles would make your countdown?  Let me know through the usual channels!

The OneCable…. the only cable you’ll ever need

Thursday, April 12th, 2012

The OneCable Sync and Charge Cable is the answer to all our cable woes.  Personally I’m fed up of having different cables for each gadget and constantly having to switch cables.  In my car alone I have a cable for my iPhone, cable for my Kindle and cable for my boyfriend’s phone – now I can get rid of all those cables and replace them with one – the OneCable.

What the OneCable offers is the ability to charge a number of different gadgets as the cable has three different connectors: Apple, MicroUSB and MiniUSB.  This means that now you don’t have to carry a number of wires, simply choose the connector you need and start charging… simples!

I’ve been using the OneCable for a few days now to get a feel of how useful it is ‘in the real world’.  I’ve mainly been using it as my iPhone 4s car charger and switching the connector to charge my boyfriend’s phone too.  However where the one cable really shone is when we visited the Safari Park – the cable allowed us to charge up the camera whilst using it to take photos, so the camera never ran out of battery.  Plus the long retractable wire meant we had the length to take shots out of both the driver side and passenger windows, with the charger still being connected.

Using the OneCable has banished the need to faff around trying to find a cable, I carry it in my bag (along with the kitchen sink) and it’s there whenever I or my boyfriend, or my mum, or whoever needs to charge their phone.

One really useful thing I’ve found is that the OneCable fits into the bottom of my FM Transmitter so I still get to play music from my iPhone and charge it at the same time.  Even better, the length of the cable reaches my mobile holder, so I can dock my phone and charge it too.

An area where the OneCable can really show off is when going on holiday; instead of packing a number of chargers and socket converters, all you need is one socket converter, one plug and the OneCable – all phones are counted for and most of your gadgets too.  This means you save crucial suitcase space and don’t have to worry about forgetting one of your many wires when returning home.

Having used it I’m a big fan of the OneCable and have found it to be rather useful but what do you think on it?  Let us know through the usual channels!

Kindle Lighted Leather Cover

Case with Light for Amazon Kindle

While hard to pronounce, the Kindle lighted leather cover is a serious reader’s most trusted ally. The leather style cover is reminiscent of old leather bound books and makes for a good grip of the Kindle, whilst the practical light allows you to keep reading for longer.

This type of Kindle cover is modern and very practical. Perfect for the truly determined Kindle reader or the energetic insomniac, it helps you read in low light without hurting your eyes, so you can finish that chapter.

For a lazy Sunday afternoon read or even for that bit of personal reading you manage to squeeze in on a business trip, you might not need the full protection and light of the kindle lighted leather cover; what you probably need is a thinner layer of protection for your Kindle, a light and slim Kindle skin.

Maybe you’re not looking for any of these. You might not read at night and you may feel like you shouldn’t suffocate your Kindle by having it semi-permanently covered in a skin. If you like your Kindle as it is but want to protect it during transport, then the perfect Kindle protection for you is a  Kindle sleeve.

We’ve got a number of these Kindle cover styles available on the site, but for the multi-functionality and all round protection, we always fall back to the trusty Kindle lighted leather cover.
