Yesterday, we received release dates for several upcoming phones, including the Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia Lumia 900 and Nokia Lumia 610. These release dates were quite vague (listing only the month of release), so we did a little digging and got more exact dates.
April 9th - unlocked Nokia Lumia 900
The Nokia Lumia 900 is the top of Nokia’s Windows Phone line and sports a massive 4.3″ ClearBlack screen, a 1.4 GHz processor and both front and rear facing cameras. The phone will be upgraded to Windows Phone Tango when it becomes available later in April.
May 7th - unlocked Nokia 808 PureView
The Nokia 808 PureView is the world’s latest and greatest camera phone, shipping with a completely massive 41 megapixel sensor that’s capable of cleverly oversampling to produce 5 megapixel images of undeniable quality, with almost zero grain or noise.
May 9th - unlocked Nokia Asha 203
The Nokia Asha 203 is a Nokia feature-phone running the Series 40 OS and includes a 2.4″ screen, a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth. The Asha 203 shares these features with the Asha 202, but also has the added ability to use two sim cards at once, and remember settings for five at once to allow for easy phone sharing.
May 21st - unlocked Nokia Asha 202
JuneThe Nokia Asha 202 is another feature-phone on the Series 40 OS, but lacks the multi-simcapabilities of the 203. The phone is cheaper though, and still includes the same 2.4″ screen, 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth. Both phones also come with €75 worth of EA games that are compatible the device.
June 11th - unlocked Nokia Lumia 610
The Nokia Lumia 610 is the cheapest Windows Phone ever, and will launch on the upcoming Windows Phone Tango operating system. The phone includes a 800 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM, but retains the 3.7″ display of the larger Nokia Lumia 710.
Exciting times! Which phone are you most tempted by? For me it’s gotta be that 41 megapixel PureView 808 – simply amazing. Let us know via the comments below!
