The ultimate iPhone protection: the Griffin Survivor

The Griffin Survivor iPhone 4S is a heck of an iPhone case. It’s built like a tank and can take any amount of punishment that you dish out – whether accidentally, as is normally the case, or deliberately to test its stoic qualities.

The makers of the case had a similar idea, and published a series of rather entertaining YouTube videos featuring the case coming up against a number of challenges. The case has been thrown off a bridge, encased in concrete (and then drilled out), dragged behind a car, thrown from a car window, and even used to destroy an office wall. Have a look at the video below, and you’ll get some idea.

The Griffin Survivor iPhone 4 manages these feats by using a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in a shock-absorbent silicone shell. Beyond merely protecting from incredible amounts of physical damage, whether by shock, scratch or crush, the Griffin also features a bevy of seals to protect against the elements, including rain, snow, mud, sand and maple syrup.

All in all, it’s an incredibly durable case, and one that you should turn to if you want to get the ultimate protective force for your iPhone 4. For more information on the Griffin Survivor case, check out the product page. You can also leave a comment or question below.

P.S. Another great alternative is the Case-Mate Tank, but that’s one for another day.
