Our Latest Samsung Galaxy Nexus Cover

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Looking for a cover for your Samsung Galaxy Nexus? We’ve got just the thing for you — this official Samsung Galaxy Nexus cover that comes first to Mobile Fun – the Mesh Vent Case.

This Galaxy Nexus cover is one of the first in the world produced by Samsung itself, and as you’d expect it is of excellent quality and fits perfectly. The case is a back-and-sides affair, covering these parts of the phone but leaving the front face free. This cuts down on bulk, making this quite a light and svelte option for your Galaxy Nexus.

Of course, as well as protection you’re also getting a bit of style. The Galaxy Nexus’ back cover is not to everyone’s taste, and this mesh backing does a lot to give the phone a more premium feel, and also allows it to sit more nicely in the hand.

Whilst the case can easily be clipped on and removed, you won’t need to. That’s because all of the phone’s ports, buttons and features are fully accessible whilst the case is on, meaning you don’t have to compromise your protection.

All in all, a very cool little case and an excellent choice if you’re looking for a Samsung Galaxy Nexus cover. What do you think? Tell us via the comments below!

Top 3 iPhone Accessories For The Holidays

Friday, December 30th, 2011

In this blog post, we’ll share our top 3 iPhone accessories for the holidays. If you’ve picked up a new iPhone for Christmas then you’ll love these ones.

Let’s start off with an iPhone case called the Griffin Survivor. It’s one heck of perfect performer, providing unparalleled protective power. It’s been tested by its manufacturers in extreme ways – being thrown off bridges, dragged behind cars and even dropped into maple syrup – and in every occasion it performed beautifully. It’s by far one of the best iPhone cases on the market.

If you’re looking for a slightly less bulky iPhone cover, then this one might be for you. Called the Twelve South BookBook Case, this is one of the most stylish iPhone covers I’ve ever seen, taking the form of a (as you may have guessed) book. A very classy choice.

Of course, the last part of that protection puzzle is often an iPhone screen protector. These incredibly useful products keep your iPhone’s display fully protected, preventing damage from scratches and scrapes. One of the highest rated iPhone 4S Screen Protectors we sell is the Moshi iVisor AG, which is an anti-glare screen protector well liked by our customers.

I hope these choices have proven useful. Thanks for reading, and happy holidays!

Top iPad Accessories For The Holidays

Friday, December 30th, 2011

If you’ve got a first generation iPad, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! Let’s have a look at four excellent accessories for the iPad.

1. iPad cases

This iPad case is one of the very best available. Called the Otterbox iPad Defender Case, it provides a triple-layer toughened protective shell, including shock-absorbent silicone, a molded polycarbonate shell and a screen protector.

2. iPad charger

iPads are great, but too often their docks are bulky and difficult to transport. The Desktop iPad Cradle changes that, with a pocketable design that keeps your iPad upright whilst charging it and syncing it with your Mac or PC.

3. iPad covers

While the Defender is a great case, sometimes you want something a little more stylish. This Tartan iPad Pro Case heartily fulfils this requirement, offering impressive protection and a very unique lok to your iPad.

4. iPad screen protector

This screen protector for iPad is called the Capdase ScreenGUARD, and it’s one of the best available. With a finger-and-grease-resistant coating, you’ll find that your iPad remains very easy to read. The additional protection can really be a lifesaver too, as you’ll be able to avoid otherwise costly scratches and scrapes.

Top iPad 2 Accessories For The Holidays

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Have you picked up a shiny new iPad 2 for Christmas? If so, then you’ll want to read on – we share our choices for the most essential iPad 2 accessories.

Round 1: iPad 2 Cover

A cover for your new iPad is one of the best ways to both protect it and make it easier to use. This KeyCase iPad 2 Folio Deluxe cover includes an integrated Bluetooth keyboard, making it very easy to write on your tablet, from articles to emails. It also keeps the screen at a convenient pitch, making it quite good for watching films on.

Round 2: iPad 2 Screen Protector

Another great way to protect your iPad 2 is a screen protector. The Moshi iVisor Anti Glare Screen Protector is a transparent layer of protection over the 9.7″ glossy screen, which prevents scratches and other damage without affecting the look of the display.

Round 3: Pocket Boom

A great way to use your iPad is as a media player, but its integrated speakers are quiet and don’t have the best sound quality. You can improve things immeasurably by adding an external speaker. With the Pocket Boom, you can turn any surface into a speaker for your iPad, without having to carry around anything bulky.

I hope you found that useful! As always, feel free to leave a comment below and we’ll surely answer it. Happy Holidays!

Yo Dawg, We Heard You Like Phones…

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

There are a lot of cool case ideas floating around these days, but none are more ridiculous than this one. Called the iPPeel by its makers, it’s a back cover for your iPhone 4 that includes a fully functional second phone inside. It’s a dual SIM phone as well, allowing you to make calls from three SIM cards in total. The idea is to use it to be able to conveniently make calls on full size SIM cards, but it also includes a crude form of multitasking — use it to make phone calls or take notes without closing your iPhone’s current application.

I’ve never seen an iPhone case that’s so worthy of Xzibit’s Yo Dawg meme (explained quite well here). It’s a bit mad, but that’s what makes it so wonderful.

We’re currently deciding whether to stock this product ourselves — if you’d like to see this ‘phoneception’ product on our virtual shelves, let us know on TwitterFacebook or Google+!
