I’m like a kid at Christmas at the moment what with the impending launch of Nintendo’s latest games console, the 3DS – and not before time too as my old DS is well, shall we say, looking a bit worse for wear. But as it’s been my trusty traveling companion for some time now, I can’t say that it hasn’t lasted well. More than I can say for the half a dozen styluses I have managed to misplace.
So with that said, it makes perfect sense to buy myself a Nintendo 3Ds case and a spare 3DS Stylus or 2. Our sister site GamingZap.com is a goldmine for 3DS accessories and I’ve decided on buying the following items to help me get the best from my new 3DS.
The Officially Licensed Expedition Case for Nintendo 3DS is perfect for looking after my new 3DS when I’m out and about and with the stylish 3D artwork design it’s the perfect match for my new console! The case can hold up to 6 extra games and 2 replacement styluses – which I’ll get onto in a minute. The soft inner layers of Expedition 3DS cases protect your system from scratches and wear and tear.

The Crown Nintendo 3DS Stylus Twin Pack is my next port of call. Featuring the same metallic finish as the official Nintendo 3DS stylus, the retractable stylus can be changed in size to suit any hand or the length that you prefer. With the Expedition Case having enough room for the spare styluses, these are a must for me.

So armed with new case and spare styluses, it’s just left for me to smash a few high scores on Rabbids and Rayman in full 3D!

A few more types of iPad 2 cover coming into stock this week from a couple of our favourite companies, Logic3 and Cygnett.
Of course, we do have the official iPad 2 Smart Cover from Apple on their way as well, which are sure to be top sellers – but when it comes to a tablet as versatile as the iPad, it’s only right that there should be as many different ways to protect and decorate it as there are ways to use it!
Logic3
Available for purchase right now, the Logic3 Rubberized Hard Shell for iPad 2 is low-cost, simple and effective – the ideal iPad 2 case to reinforce and protect the rear of the tablet whilst not affecting or eclipsing that gorgeously massive screen. The hard shell clips easily on and off, and has a soft-touch rubber finish in a variety of bright colours (black, clear, red, blue and pink) which means that you can personalise your iPad 2 in your favourite shade. The package also comes with an iPad 2 screen protector and cleaning cloth included, so you’ve got everything you need to keep your tablet clean and scratch-free in one pack.

Easy and Effective
Cygnett
There are also a couple of covers by Cygnett due to come in tomorrow (Thursday) – the Lavish Folio Case with Stand and the Armour Case (the latter available in either black or white). Both of them are stylish, practical and have handy cut-outs for your iPad 2 charger port, headphone jack and other features.
The Cygnett Lavish Folio Case with Stand for iPad 2 takes some of the things that are so great about the smart cover – namely, a built-in stand and magnetic closing – and gives them a more swanky, sophisticated look that I think is perfect for professionals. The stand has three different angles, letting you place it in optimum position for whatever you’re up to, whether it’s typing, browsing the internet or watching videos. A soft micro-suede internal lining protects the tablet, and the exterior is a very business-like leather-effect.

Perfect for Professionals
Like the Lavish Folio Case, the Cygnett Armour Case for iPad 2 also has multi-positioning with three different angles for best mode of viewing, as well as a fourth position for stability when typing. The Armour Case is exactly what its name suggests – a super-strong shield that will protect the iPad 2 from any knocks and bumps it encounters during your day. That makes it ideal for the safety-conscious who are anxious about carrying such a costly device around with them. Despite its double-strength exterior and padded interior, the Armour Case is lightweight and won’t add much bulk.

Safe, Strong & Stable

We’re all very proud to report that Mobile Fun has received the accolade of ‘Best Online Retailer’ at this year’s Mobile News Awards, beating off heavy competition in order to lift the trophy!
Mobile News Awards is the biggest and most respected annual event in the mobile industry, and this year’s super-glitzy affair was held at the London Hilton on 17th March and skilfully compered by comedian Jason Manford. Awards are judged by an independent panel of experts from the world of technology.
We were up against competitors BuyMobilePhones.net and Mobiles.co.uk, both top retailers in their own rights, so receiving the award was a real honour – though I’m pleased to report that there were more cheers than tears from our team on the night, with no embarrassing Oscar-style weeping to be seen!
Mobile Fun was lauded by the judging panel as demonstrating “innovation in retailing linked with excellent customer service”.
Other awards on the night went to Orange (Best Large Retailer), O2 (Best Network) and Google (Industry Advance). You can read the full list of winners over at the Mobile News Awards site.

Mo receiving our prize from comedian Jason Manford!
